At Willowcroft Grooming Services, you can count on our dog groomers for professional
pet grooming services. Our services are available to customers in Martham and throughout Potter Heigham and Acle. Below, you can find the terms and conditions of using our pet grooming services.
We provide a service in compliance with The Animal Welfare Act (2007).
We must be informed by the dog owner if the dog has ever been aggressive or has ever bitten anyone. The owner understands that they will be legally liable for the consequences of all bites caused by their dog.
It is important that you inform us of any health problems that your dog may have. We examine your dog for lumps and bumps during the groom and should anything be found, we will notify you upon collection.
- Grooming sick and elderly dogs will be at the owner's risk, but we reserve the right to refuse to groom a dog if we consider that it is too unwell to be groomed.
At Willowcroft, we groom humanely. We will attempt to de-matt a coat only once and only if we feel that it will not cause pain. Matted fur on your dog may result in having to clip close to the dog's skin. In some cases, this can cause skin irritation or skin nicks from close shaving. You agree that Willowcroft Dog Grooming will not be held responsible for any effect this has after the grooming session is complete.
A full bladder and bowel can be very uncomfortable for a dog whilst it is being groomed. Please ensure that your dog has toileted, before bringing him or her to their appointment.
If your dog has fleas, we ask that you treat it before the appointment.
We ask that your dog has a current vaccination or titre test certificate.
We normally take photographs of the dogs in our care. These may be used on our website and kept as a record for follow up grooms. Please inform us if you do not wish your dog’s photos to be used.
